This stuff works great on non-porous/non-textured material and pretty good on regular fabric as well. I used it to patch a section of 2in pool drain hose and used it to repair a small tear in our microfiber fabric couch. It performed fantastically on the hose and worked ok on the couch. I don't expect the couch repair to last very long before it will need to be redone.
