This is a beautiful product with a lot of functions that I am sure I will never use, but it is nice to have them anyway. The touch functions are sweet, the picture quality is excellent. I watched a bluray and it was like being right there with the actors. I bought HP speakers and the sound quality was amazing. The price I paid for this computer was hundreds less than what other stores such as Best Buy, Walmart and even HP was selling it for. Couple that with the fact that I saved a lot by buying the Squaretrade insurance instead of those sold by other stores, I just had to buy it from Amazon. Not to mention I have bought many times before from Amazon and I have yet to have a negative word to say about the experience no matter the sellers I chose. That's why I always check Amazon first before I buy. Going back to the Touchsmart, since I bought my first HP after my initial computer became absolete and was phased out, after many years of excellent service as well, I have never even looked at any other brand. Each time they have made solid products whether I was buying their printers right down to my recent purchase of their speakers. Everybody that has seen this computer comments on how great it looks, I say its even better when it works great too. I also love its built in troubleshooting software that finds the problem either with external products or the computer itself and suggests ways to fix the problem right then and there, even without you asking it asks you.
This version doesn't have HDMI and no floppy drive, I know, archaic, but I have so many and my computer before this one, it was practically all I used until I bought an external hard drive. So, a lot of my work is still saved on those things, so if you are like me you will have to buy an external floppy drive.
I can't wait to try the webcam and the voice recognition software that comes with this computer, like I said there are a wealth of other functions, I'll never even know about, let alone use. It also copies files fast and burns them fast.
My computer arrived early and was working right out of the box. Just plug and play. So far, so good, definitely a five star experience!

I got the HP Touchsmart after extensive research and a significant price drop (mine was about $900). Simply put, it's awesome. The screen is huge, vibrant, and of course 1080p. The i5 processor is super fast; I can be watching NetFlix while downloading music and recording TV with no lag. Speaking of TV, the built-in tuner is great and you can set shows to record then watch them whenever you want. And everything sounds better with Beats Audio which sounds sooo much better than my laptop's speakers. The touch screen is sweet and although I use it more than I thought I would, it is still more of a novelty. I've had no problems yet and I think for the price I paid it is a lot better thhan any Mac I could have gotten.

This computer accompanies my stand up desk, flawlessly. The touch screen while sitting, can be a chore. If you are a person seeking to escape the confines of your chair, and would like a computer to compliment that change, this is it. The computer is extremely fast, as I am constantly doing many task at once. I will have Firefox open with 5-20 tabs constantly, I'll listen to music and have several stock trading programs open. For the first time, I can watch 1080p videos on YouTube, with no freezing. This computer also doubles as my TV and media center. Beats Audio is a welcomed feature, as I love music. Hooking up a sub-woofer to this machine is a must.For me, this has been the best computer, I've ever purchased. It allows me to do everything, I need a computer to do with no issue. Like I said, if you want to start standing more, this computer will be perfect. Have a nice day.
